It’s been a tough week. A lot of our favorite shows just got the hammer. And our upcoming Monday podcast will definitely cover all of this devastating news. BUT we move on by making you laugh (games), getting you invested (with a new show), and giving you some TV recommendations (Top 5). So spill some for the homies we’ve lost, and let’s hang out to Make TV Great Again.

SUNDAY: 

COMMON FACTORS ARE BACK, SON! We played two rounds of the finding the common factor between two shows. Myself, Cody Boccia, Alex Di Trolio, & Kristen Plati competed:

MONDAY: 

This week, Rachel Leishman & Kristen Plati joined me in the studio to guess which shows were getting cancelled, along with talking about why Castle should be cancelled (for the good of the show!; and it did!) and Hulu’s new live streaming service. We filled the rest of the hour with other TV news and headlines:

TUESDAY: 

I reviewed the M.Night Shyamalan FOX drama Wayward Pines, joined by Alanah Rafferty & Kristen Plati. TL;DW: It’s amazing. You should watch it before Season 2 comes back this summer.

 

WEDNESDAY:

I’m disheartened to say we won’t be doing any more Live broadcasts this season, the main reason being both for LTE and Wifi in my area have displayed very poor video quality over all our broadcast. So I’d rather put out nothing than put out poor quality. We’ll try to figure out a way to still do them, but we’ll have to rethink our strategy. But if you’ve ever tuned in, thank you so much! It was always a blast to do them!

THURSDAY:

We’ve done law enforcement and we’ve done doctors. Now it’s time for some lawyers. I brought in Kristen Plati & Alanah Rafferty (again) to debate the Top 5 shows for lawyers. But instead, I got a 20-minute argument about one Judge. Don’t worry. I condensed it for your viewing pleasure.

• TV Charades II was our most-watched video last week with nearly 100 minutes watched.

INTERNATIONAL 3VIEW: MARSEILLE

I really wanted to challenge the hangout this week, so we’ll be reviewing the Netflix’s new series for France Marseille. The show is similar in scope to House of Cards with some The Americans feel there. Marseille follows a 25-year major of the French city challenged by his former ambitious protege. Come back Tuesday to see what the hangout thought!
