I sincerely can’t believe we’re about to enter the final month of Season Two of Telemazing. This is insane! But let’s move forward. Telemazing did another awesome week of videos. So here’s a recap of our TV hangout over the last week:

SUNDAY: 

With the new setup, I can finally play the game I’ve been wanting to do since Day 1: CHARADES!!! But specifically, TV Charades. Melissa Slaughter and myself played Kristen Plati & Cody Boccia. We definitely struggled through this, but it was fun watching people have difficulties playing something new:

MONDAY: 

This week, Rachel Leishman, Denim James, and I remembered the late Prince. Afterwards, we brought in Carly Hill (Contributing Writer to TheMarySue.com & HelloGiggles) to talk about the new companion of Doctor Who and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Season 2. We fill the rest of the hour with other TV news and headlines:

 

 

TUESDAY: 

I reviewed TBS’s new show The Detour, joined by Alanah Rafferty, Kristen Plati, and Denim James. We liked and disliked a few things; but overall, we had a consensus on whether the new TBS series was worth your time:

 

WEDNESDAY:

Part One of our collaboration with Brian Parker of Men vs. Movies is out now! Our own Alanah Rafferty did an intensive Daredevil review of Season Two with the channel, which premiered Thursday. Brian also frequents on our podcast, so make sure you subscribe to them too! They’ll have their collaboration video coming to our channel in the next couple weeks.

THURSDAY:

In our final month, I wanted to try out some occupational lists. So we started with the most popular occupation on TV: law enforcement. I brought in Cody Boccia, Kristen Plati, Melissa Slaughter, and Subhash Santosh to debate the Top 5 shows that solves crimes:

• So far, TV Charades is our best video of this week.

I’m seeing my sister graduate (HOORAY!), but that means there’ll be no new podcast Monday (NOOOOO!). But there’s 11 podcasts up now. So go listen to one you haven’t heard yet!

UNDERRATED SHOW OF THE YEAR: THE GRINDER

Tons of new shows get cancelled at the end of the year, but there’s always the one fantastic rookie show out that gets swept under the rug with the rest of the horrible shows. This gem is usually my pick for the “underrated show of the year”, which I choose annually. I’ve chosen Go On (NBC) and Ben and Kate (FOX) in 2013, Growing Up Fisher (NBC) & Mixology (ABC) in 2014, and Astronaut Wives’ Club (ABC) last year. So for 2016, I’m selecting The Grinder (FOX), starring Fred Savage (Wonder Years) and Rob Lowe (West Wing, Parks and Rec); created by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel. I was so sure of the show’s greatness, I had my panelist give it 3 episodes. Was my selection a good one, or did the others think it’s worth getting cancelled? Come back Tuesday to see what we think!
