Week #3 of Season 2 ends, and thus begins our 2nd Weekly Newsletter about everything happening in the world of Telemazing:
The Game Leaders have been established, so this week Speed Round #2 saw a battle to change the current leaderboard. Some teams came closer than others, but with a Season Finale Championship in Early May and few opportunities to make it, everyone’s giving it their best shot.
Monday’s THE 2016 OSCARS podcast was hands down our best, most fun, and most entertaining podcast so far. Literally recorded two minutes after the Sunday broadcast ended, we talked Chris Rock, the winners, the surprises, and most importantly Leonardo DiCaprio….and Star Wars not winning anything (it’s Rachel we’re talking about here, #notsurprised). We brought in call-in guest Brian Parker of YouTube’s MEN VS. MOVIES. Tim Mastic was in studio, with Joseph Mwamba running the show & Rachel Leishman co-hosting.
For the month of March, we’re covering the best shows for each Decade. So Tuesday, we started with the 1960s. Cody Boccia, Joseph Mwamba, Subhash Santosh, and Kristen Plati debated which shows best represented the 60s, which varied between shows created in the era to modern shows’ depiction of the decade. So which 5 shows best represent the 1960s? Watch to see which shows made the list:
Last week, Joseph Mwamba did YouTube Space NY, and we finally have a video to feature where Joseph Mwamba pitches Telemazing on SHELLY COCO’s channel. She’ll be coming on the show soon:
We have our monthly Telemazing staff meetings on Wednesdays, so there was no Periscope this week.
Finally, Netflix released the highly-anticipated FULLER HOUSE over the past weekend. Joseph Mwamba, Cody Boccia, Melissa Slaughter, and Alex Di Trolio debated on whether the show was worth a 13-episode watch:
StatDay Friday: Last week, we were 25 subscribers away from 200, and we’re now only 9 away! SO CLOSE! So go subscribe to our channel right now! Just click on the giant subscribe button above to help us out!
WHAT’S COMING UP
TUESDAY’S TOP 5 SHOWS IF ~ DECADES: THE 70s
As we said above, every Tuesday for all of March will feature the best shows representing each decade. Coming this Tuesday, we’ll debate which shows best represent the 1970s. Alex Di Trolio, Melissa Slaughter, Joseph Mwamba, and Cody Boccia help compile the list.
