We prefer students currently enrolled or graduated from video/film programs, but open to video/film professionals (this is an unpaid position):

We’re in need of a video editor for our YouTube channel Telemazing (more info of our channel in the final paragraph). You’ll be editing 3-5 videos a week, ranging between 3-6 minutes each. These will be evergreen (non-time sensitive) segments. Depending on your work performance, you may also have the chance to edit time-sensitive videos. We publish a new video 5 days a week, and we plan the video schedule 2 weeks in advance. You can see our channel (and an example of the work you’ll be doing) at YouTube.com/c/telemazing. Video quality has improved since latest videos.

You must have 3+ yrs exp on Adobe Premiere Pro with exceptional skills at Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (also knowledgeable of Adobe Audition and Illustrator). You are expected to create graphics and lower-thirds for the videos (a template will be created for you); however, we will allow creative freedom pending performance/experience. If you use Mac applications, you may still apply. However, you must have applicable substitutes for these programs and have exceptional skills since we’re Adobe-based. You must have your own computer with desired editing programs.

Your first two editing sessions must be looked after by the Executive Producer. Afterwards, you may choose to work remotely or during shoot days (Sunday). Deadline for videos are two days before its YouTube premiere, with first looks due three days.

Telemazing is a new YouTube channel which takes an bird’s-eye view at TV. With more than 50 videos up in less than 2 months, the channel shows TV discussions and debates about comedies and dramas, recommends shows, and occasionally looks at niche genres (e.g. British shows, sci-fi, reality, anime, etc). In a nutshell, Telemazing is a show for people and by people who love TV. Telemazing has a new video every weekday (M-F) and season one officially premieres September 14th.
