Pilot Review: Jane The Virgin

I don’t know what’s more surprising: that JANE THE VIRGIN was impressively good, or that CW has premiered two impressively good dramas in one month.

CRISTELA (ABC) may have its stereotypical Hispanic jokes, but behind it all…there was nothing; the pilot was all stereotypical Hispanic jokes.

CW’s THE FLASH was one of the most complete pilots I’ve watched this year. If not THE most complete pilot of the year.

ABC’s MANHATTAN LOVE STORY really made the right adjustments in episode 2. But it’s still not that funny.
