We’re currently casting panelists/correspondents for Season 4 of Telemazing, our YouTube channel and podcast where we talk, play, and debate TV. If you love talking about television, we want you to apply to be a panelist on the show!

Our correspondents are huge fans of television, and they will engage in TV debates, recommend shows, and occasionally play a game or two. In a nutshell, Telemazing is a channel for TV fans by TV fans.

Here’s what we’re looking for: We’re looking for correspondents (ages 18-29) who are 1) consistent TV show viewers, 2) highly knowledgeable in current television industry news & trends, and 3) concise and insightful, yet engaging and fun in their discussions. We’re looking for a team player who has chemistry with the E.P. and other correspondents. We’re also looking for someone dedicated to the growth of the channel too, such as sharing videos/podcasts, commenting on other panelists videos, and encouraging others to subscribe.

Responsibilities: We have fun here, but that’s also due to the channel’s structure. Your responsibilities vary every week pending what video or podcast you’ll be on. One week, you could be preparing a Top 5 list of shows, the next you’re watching 3 episodes of a series for a video review, and perhaps even both. We do expect you to help grow the channel, such as sharing videos/podcasts, commenting on other panelists videos, and encouraging others to subscribe. We’ll also expect you to pop onto our weekly podcast once in a while. We’ll send you topics the day before the shoot, you just gotta be yourself and know the stories we’ll touch on. You are expected to be well prepared before shoots, also to be available on Sundays, to arrive on time, and to attend monthly cast catch-ups. You will receive a call sheet of responsibilities every Tuesday/Wednesday. Feel free to ask any questions to the E.P. at anytime.

Here’s how you apply: Email a headshot/picture AND the answers to the below questionaire to info@telemazing.com. Only NYC-based applicants may apply. Everything aforementioned must be included to be considered (you may also send a resume, but not necessary):

1. List your 5 favorite series of all-time (anytime, anywhere; order is irrelevant)
2. List currently-running TV shows you watch (can list as many as you want)
3. Why do you love television?
4. Why do you want to be a panelist on Telemazing?

Keep Question 3 & 4 to a fair paragraph each. Submit with this mentality: We over at Telemazing love television, and could talk about it all day. We’re looking for panelists who love it just as much as we do. So show us your excitement! This is your shot to talk about TV shows with people who share the love.

SUBMISSIONS DUE: Feburary 4th @ 10p; We will only email back those who were selected for auditions by the latest February 4th @ 11pm.

NOTIFICATION: You’ll be notified if you’re part of the team by at the latest Wednesday, February 8th by 11am and MUST be available for first shoot of the season: Sunday, February 12th.

SHOOT SCHEDULE: You’d start almost immediately. We shoot every Sunday in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn; with Podcast call times at 11am and Video call times at 1pm. We also have Production Meetings every first Tuesday of the month in or near Midtown, Manhattan.
